KRISTOPHER RADDER — BRATTLEBORO REFORMER

John Winter, from A's Auto & Truck Repair, looks at a vehicle that rolled over into a stream along Route 112, in Jacksonville, Vt., on Wednesday. One person in the vehicle was killed in the crash, and the cause of death is under investigation. Immediate family was notified, but police did not release the name of the deceased. The road was closed down to allow Vermont State Troopers to investigate the crash and to allow a rotator truck to lift the vehicle out of the stream without damaging the retaining walls. Sgt. Ryan Wood said the vehicle was traveling in the northbound lane and went off the road for an unknown reason and rotated 180 degrees, landing on the roof. The call came in around 4:45 p.m.
