Feeling great - at 108

Warren Patrick celebrated his 108th birthday with a party at Valley Cares Assisted Living in Townshend, on Thursday, June 13. Warren was one of the original residents at Valley Cares when it opened in November of 2007. He's the only one still alive. A Vermont resident since 1945, Patrick was not accepted into the Army during WWII due to poor vision, but worked at Pratt & Whitney helping to build hundreds of military planes. Warren loves to do crossword puzzles and create jokes and puns. He says the most important thing is to "keep busy" and "smile!" He considers it a blessing from God to have lived so long.
