Windham World Affairs Council Continues its "Understanding Iran Through Film series on Friday, March 9 at 6:30 p.m. at a new venue, The Centre Congregational Church, Memorial Hall, 193 Main St., Brattleboro.

WWAC is offering a screening of the Iranian film, "The Hidden Half," directed by Tahmineh Milani, Iran's leading professional woman film director. Her films have won awards both in Iran and at international film festivals. Our presenter is Professor Eric Hooglund, who has devoted his life to studying, researching and teaching about Iran. The program is free and open to the public. We invite you to come at 6:30 for Iranian pastries and tea before the program, which starts at 7 p.m.. For more information, please visit:
