BRATTLEBORO — On Wednesday, the state of Vermont will be distributing a large amount of free food in the student parking lot at Brattleboro Union High School, 131 Fairground Road, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Everyone is welcome. You will be asked only the community you are from (this is for Brattleboro and the immediate region) and how many people are in your household. You will not be asked names or your financial information.

To keep the distribution process orderly, everyone is requested to approach the distribution site from South Main Street, going west on Sunny Acres to Atwood Street, where you will be directed by a traffic control person to the lineup point and into the distribution site.

Fairground Road will be closed to all thru traffic, and residents in the area should expect increased traffic for the day. Brattleboro Police will be assisting in the area.
