Get tips on parenting tweens and teens

BELLOWS FALLS — A six-week Active Parenting of Tweens & Teens workshop will begin on Thursday, April 25, at Parks Place from 6 to 8 p.m. This workshop is open to anyone raising children ages 10-18.

Active Parenting of Teens is focused on learning skills that will help you prepare for the changes, challenges, and joys that arise throughout the teen years. Discover how the teen brain matures, ways to reduce power struggles, increase cooperation, and keep the communication lines open so you are able to stay connected to your kids. The workshop will also help you to understand how to have conversations about sensitive issues such as drugs, sexuality and violence.
