Grocery store workers protest pay change, safety lapses

BRATTLEBORO — A group of workers from Hannaford Supermarket walked out at 1 p.m. on Monday because the company stopped paying hazard pay that stemmed from the COVID-19 pandemic. The group also stated that the store is not enforcing the mask policy and limits on the number of people allowed in the store.
