Harrison has scored 718 points for Cadets

BRATTLEBORO — Arianna Harrison, of Vernon, has scored 40 points in her last three games combined for the Norwich University women's basketball team.

The senior had a double-double (21 points, 10 rebounds) versus Simmons on Tuesday. That was sandwiched by her seven points against Saint Joseph's and a dozen points against Regis.

She started in Thursday's contest, a 58-54 loss to Regis, along with Shyann Josler (Thetford), Emily Oliver (Ohio), Riley Bennett (New Hampshire) and Vanessa Fleury (New Hampshire). Spaulding grad Paige McNally, Fair Haven grad Jenna Alexander, and Thetford grad Regan Covey join Josler and Harrison as the only Vermont players on the team.

The 2014 Brattleboro Union High School graduate has scored 718 points, pulled down 672 rebounds and dished out 191 assists so far in her college career. She also has 100 steals and 28 blocked shots.

She is averaging 8.7 points, 8.1 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game this season.

The 4-7 Cadets will play at Mount Ida on Saturday at 1 p.m. Their next home game is Jan. 23 at 7:30 p.m. against Emmanuel.
