Hinsdale girls soccer team's on the rise

BRATTLEBORO — After missing the playoffs for three straight years, the Hinsdale varsity girls soccer team went 8-6 last year to qualify for the postseason.

The Lady Pacers ended the 2018 regular season with a 3-1 victory over Mount Royal. Juliana Yialiades tallied twice for the winners, while Lexie Leclaire also scored. Jewel Morrison (assist), Kleay Steever (assist) and Angelina Nardolillo (8 saves) also brought their A game.

Hinsdale earned the No. 9 seed in the Division 4 playoffs and then lost to eighth-ranked Moultonborough 2-0 in a first-round contest.

On Sept. 4 at 4 p.m., the Lady Pacers will debut at Wilton. The team's home opener is set for Sept. 6 versus Profile.
