Hospice to again host Summer Soir e
WESTMINSTER — Brattleboro Area Hospice will host its second annual garden party event and gathering on Friday, July 26, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., in the gardens of Cyndy Fine, of Genius Loci, Ecological Landscape Design, at 3293 Route 5.
The event will allow participants to explore a spectacular summer garden in full, July bloom, and learn about Brattleboro Area Hospice in its 40th year, all while enjoying light refreshments and a cash bar. Friends, volunteers and staff of the organization will be in attendance to circulate and talk to attendees about the work and what it means to them.
Elizabeth Rogers and Eugene Friesen will grace the group with a sampling of their music. The Hallowell singers will again offer songs in four-part harmony to inspire and open the heart. From joyful to reverent, these songs have been sung around the bedsides of the dying or in the living rooms of homes where family has gathered to support a loved one at the end of life.
Admission to the event is $30 per person or $50 for two people attending together. Tickets can be purchased at the event or ahead of time at www.brattleborohospice.org. Proceeds of this event will directly benefit the programs and services of Brattleboro Area Hospice that are provided free of charge. This year's Title Event Sponsor is Edward Jones Investments.
