Investment firm purchases Fulflex

BRATTLEBORO — An agreement to acquire Fulflex, a division of The Moore Company, was announced Monday by Garflex Inc., an independent U.S. investment company owned by the same shareholders of Garware Bestretch Limited.

Garflex Inc., doing business as Fulflex, will continue its local manufacturing operation in Brattleboro. Fulflex business was sold by The Moore Company to Garflex Inc. under the terms and conditions that are strictly confidential.

"We believe in the Fulflex brand and in the people, and we are committed to the business," stated Diya Ibanez, promoter of Garflex Inc., in a press release issued Tuesday. Ibanez also pointed out that this acquisition is primarily intended to position the company even better to seize growth opportunities in an industry that is constantly evolving.
