BELLOWS FALLS — Kendra Houle has been named the November Elks Student of the Month for Bellows Falls Union High School. Kendra, a senior, is the daughter of Joannie Houle of Bellows Falls.

Friendly and compassionate, Kendra has a lightness to her that radiates kindness and warmth. She is kind to everyone, genuinely cares about others, and goes out of her way to talk to people to see how they are doing. Her quiet demeanor brings calmness to the rushed life of a high school.

Although a little shy, she puts herself out there to make others feel welcome. She is a true example of someone who contributes warmth and sincerity to all who cross her path.

As an active learner, Kendra arrives to class early and ready to work. She puts 100 percent effort into everything she does in class and offers great insights in class discussions. She is willing to work to improve her skills, and she serves as a good role model to her classmates.

A quiet leader, she models positive study skills and strategies in the classroom and is a pleasure to work with. In addition to her studies at BFUHS, Kendra is a member of the River Valley Technical Center Horticulture and Natural Resources Program.

Not only does Kendra work hard in her academics, she is also a talented artist who makes the creative process look effortless.

Congratulations, Kendra. BFUHS and the Elks are proud to have you represent us this month with this award.
