Lesage-Horton joins Primary Care Pediatrics
BRATTLEBORO — Brattleboro Primary Care Pediatrics welcomes Dr. Heather Lesage-Horton, a board certified pediatrician who is transitioning from Just So Pediatrics, also located in Brattleboro. She will begin seeing patients at BPC on August 18.
Lesage-Horton completed both her undergraduate training and medical school at the University of Vermont, graduating from medical school in 2009. She completed her pediatric residency at C.S. Mott Children's Hospital with the University of Michigan Health System in Ann Arbor, Mich.
"I am excited to join the team at Brattleboro Primary Care to continue to provide excellent care for children in the Brattleboro area. I love to watch children and families grow while guiding them through developmental milestones. Caring for a newborn and then watching that newborn become a toddler and then school age child while both the child and parent gain confidence in their roles, is the best part of pediatrics. "
Lesage-Horton is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and Vermont Medical Society. She lives in Brattleboro with her husband, Mark Horton, with their three children, a labradoodle and some chickens. When not working, she enjoys hiking and skiing with her family as well as gardening and quilting.
Brattleboro Primary Care, located at 21 Belmont Ave., is a part of Primary Care Health Partners, a physician-owned group of independent practitioners in Vermont and upstate New York. Lesage-Horton joins Dr. Emily Kolpa, Dr. Elizabeth Richards, Dr. Kristan Outwater, Heather Baribault CPNP and Sarah Rury, NP. Contact: 802-258-3905.
