Letter: Front page story wrong; we are here

Editor of the Reformer:

I read with interest your lead article in the Oct. 3 issue — "Doctors take 'middle man' out of equation."

A matter of concern to me however is Dr. Mulhern's statement, I quote, "We here in this office are the only private family practice remaining in southeastern Vermont."

I am sure Dr. Mulhern was not aware that this was an error. I have been a physician with a private family practice and osteopathic practice in

southeastern Vermont for the last 24 years and still am. My plan is to remain in private practice well into the future. We accept most forms of insurance. Additionally, Dr. Dean Bresnahan has been for decades, and still is, in private Family Practice in Brattleboro. He plans to retire at the end of December.

Craig E. Goldberg, DO,

Brattleboro, Oct. 4
