Letter: Grieving a loss

Don't miss the big stories. Like us on Facebook.

Editor of the Reformer,

I, as have so many, lost a loved one this year, and I grieve. And, as in so many cases, it probably didn't have to happen.

Was it COVID-19? Perhaps in part. But it was also, as with the virus, the result of mismanagement, hubris, lack of foresight and apparently zero preparation for the unknown but not completely unexpected.

My loved one had a chance, but the right people didn't get there in time.

So RIP, Marlboro College. You will never be forgotten by those who knew you.
