Letter: Support for Tully, Partridge
Editor of the Reformer,
With three people running in the primary from Windham District 3, we have to pick two to represent us in Montpelier. The three candidates are: Leslie Goldman, Kelley Tully and Carolyn Partridge.
My husband Vinnie DiBernardo and I urge you to vote for Carolyn Partridge and Kelley Cota Tully. Carolyn has over 20 years experience in Montpelier and currently chairs the House Committee on Agriculture and Forestry. She has served us faithfully and effectively. It is important that she be reelected. You don't change a ship's captain during a storm.
Kelley Tully has a background in business as well as health care. As a registered nurse for over 30 years, her knowledge and experience will be especially important in this COVID-19 pandemic as we face the second wave. As a family business owner and a seventh generation Vermonter, she understands the challenges that are still to come.
We have a primary on August 11. Please register to vote if you have not. All Vermont towns have same day registration. If you choose to vote by absentee ballot, you can request a ballot by calling the Rockingham town clerk at 463-4336 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. It is important that you do this as soon a possible.
If you already have an absentee ballot sitting on your desk, mail it in today.
Office hours for the town clerk are Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m to 4:30 p.m. The office is closed on Fridays.
Thank you for your time.
Ann and Vincent DiBernardo
