Letter: Vermont could lead the nation

Editor of the Reformer:

What we need is a radical change in education across our country. We could start in Vermont by revamping our education system as a role model for the country. We need to foster a system that puts the student first, that motivates them, that helps them create a love of learning and vision for their own success. Income inequality has many components, one being insufficient education and skills development. Parenting and values must be an integral part of any solution. Act 46 is mainly an administrative plan, let's develop a plan to truly motivate our children to succeed in fulfilling their dreams.
