Little League All-Star teams announced

Reformer Staff

BRATTLEBORO — Degan Gundry, who hit six home runs for the Giants, is one of 13 players that were recently named to the Brattleboro Little League 12-year-old All-Star team.

Also on the roster are Thomas Bell, Charles Clark, Karson Elliott, and Brandon Weeks — a foursome that helped the A's to a perfect season. Elliott threw a no-hitter against the Reds on May 29 and Weeks hit four balls over the fence on the year.

The Pirates will be represented by slugger Nick Gerard, who went deep five times in 2018. The Reds will be represented by Jett and Jackson Emery — the former had a walk-off single against the Giants and the latter struck out eight in that same contest, and Willem Thurber (11 K's in one 2018 start).

Troy Forkin, who struck out 11 for the Pirates during a victory over the Reds, also made the team along with Will "the Thrill" Hill (Red Sox), Tucker Sargent (Red Sox), and Will Miskovich (Mets).
