BRATTLEBORO — Play ball!

With guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and the governor's office, the Brattleboro Little League Board decided in favor of a 2020 season on Monday.

The schedule usually goes from late April to mid June, however COVID-19 concerns forced the league to postpone the action this year. The regular season will begin on July 6.

Ages 9-12 (born between Sept. 1, 2007 and Aug. 31, 2011) are eligible to play. There will not be a tryout.

Registration will take place Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at the South Main Street field, from 4-6 p.m. each day. Everyone attending is asked to wear a face covering and to practice social distancing.

The league fee ($60) and proof of age (copy/scan of birth certificate or passport) are required at registration.

If you have already registered your child online, there's no need to re-register. However, you are encouraged to bring your league fee and player's proof of birth. Those will need to be submitted before games begin.
