BRATTLEBORO — Eric Macayan has been promoted to assistant branch manager at the Putney Road location of Brattleboro Savings & Loan. Macayan, who has been with the bank since 2017, has excelled as a Saturday supervisor in recent months at both Brattleboro offices, in addition to his role as Universal Banker, according to BS&L. He will officially transfer to the Putney Road branch in early July.

"Eric continues to demonstrate an unwavering commitment to the Bank and the valued communities we serve," Theresa Masiello, BS&L vice president and senior retail officer, said. "Just as the BS&L is growing, we are pleased to provide opportunities for our team to grow and learn."

Macayan has more than a decade of experience in customer service and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Bicol University College of Arts and Letters in the Philippines. He lives in Vernon, where he enjoys hiking and photography.
