Missing man's body found in Winchester, N.H.

WINCHESTER, N.H. — The search for a Winchester man missing since Saturday, May 12, has ended tragically.

According to a press release from the Winchester Police Department, emergency responders received a report of a dead man in the woods west of Old Westport Road. Police received the report from a hunter who was in the area.

Upon arrival, members of the police department and the Winchester Fire Department and Winchester EMS found the body of 32-year-old Justin Rice.

Rice's immediate family was notified of his death.

"Out of respect for the family the manner of death will not be released by police," stated the press release. "Mr. Rice's passing is an isolated incident and there is not any danger to the community. Police do not plan on releasing any further information and are saddened this missing person's case did not have a better resolution."

Rice was last seen leaving his father's house on Saturday at 6 p.m. He was reported as being emotionally distraught.
