Nardolillo, Lawyer playing for NMH
NORTHFIELD, Mass. — Junior Angelina Nardolillo scored 15 points during the Northfield Mount Hermon girls basketball team's 56-42 loss to Deerfield Academy on Wednesday.
NMH fell behind by 20 points in the first half, but rallied to within five in the third quarter. Asha Parker paced the Hoggers with 16 points.
Nardolillo helped Hinsdale to the Division 4 state championship game as a freshman and sophomore prior to transferring. Last season, she joined Gary Beaman, Sleepy Brooks, Steve Deschenes, Jason Dillon, Joe Sarsfield, Michael Kerylow, Larry Scott, Allison Scott, Julie Messenger, Matt Boggio, Skylar Bonnette and Skyler LeClair as the only Hinsdale players to reach the 1,000-point milestone.
NMH (1-7) will play at St. Paul's School on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.
Brattleboro's Michaela Lawyer is playing for NMH's junior varsity team. She finished with three rebounds, two steals and one assist in a 29-23 loss to Deerfield Academy.
