BRATTLEBORO — A large number of law enforcement officers were seen at a Central Street apartment Wednesday.

One neighbor said she saw about 10 law enforcement officers from local, state and federal agencies at the scene Wednesday morning. The residence has been known for drug sales, according to accounts from other neighbors.

Brattleboro Police Capt. Mark Carignan said he could not share any specific information.

"The BPD enjoys a longstanding, cooperative and productive relationship with state and federal law enforcement partners," Carignan said. "We work with them regularly to address concerns in the community."

Representatives from the Vermont State Police and United States Attorney's Office for the District of Vermont declined to comment.
