Posted

The Brattleboro Reformer teamed up with the Auto Mall and the United Way of Windham County to provide backpacks and school supplies to school age children in Windham County. About 200 backpacks were given out at a special event Tuesday at the Putney Road car dealership. Each backpack included a water bottle, crayons, safe-scissors, a ruler, a notebook, regular pencils, a pencil sharpener, a glue stick and tissues. The giveaway event also included free haircuts from Shear Designs and refreshments.
