Palomba voted Reformer Athlete of the Week

BRATTLEBORO — Brattleboro Union High School varsity boys ice hockey player Anthony Palomba received 146 votes to earn Reformer Athlete of the Week honors for Dec. 24-30.

The sophomore forward had a hat trick, leading the Colonels to a 6-1 victory over Northfield.

"This is awesome...keep going," Lori Wood wrote on the Reformer Sports Facebook page, regarding Palomba's performance.

He joins basketball standouts Halle Dickerson (Bellows Falls) and Rachael Rooney (BUHS) as winter winners. The prize for each of them is two free games of bowling at Brattleboro Bowl.
