Colin Young leads a group of motorcylists at the start of the Brattleboro Retreat's 10th annual Ride for Heroes on Saturday. More than 170 riders and 50 volunteers took part in the event for the Retreat's Uniformed Service Program, which provides specialized treatment and support to military personnel, law enforcement, fire fighters, corrections personnel and EMTs who face post-traumatic stress disorder and other issues as a result of their duty. Young helped to start the Ride 10 years ago and has been the event's leading fund raiser throughout its history.
