Planned Parenthood official to speak

BRATTLEBORO — Planned Parenthood of Northern New England president and CEO, Meagan Gallagher, will speak in Brattleboro on Tuesday, July 16, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the new Saxton's River Distillery, on Chickering Drive.

Gallagher will share the latest on the state of sexual and reproductive health care and abortion access locally and nationally. There will be time for questions and reflections. Poet Verandah Porch will welcome guests with her tribute poem to Planned Parenthood.

This event is being hosted by Reproductive Health Advocates of Southern Vermont & The Women's Action Team. Join in for camaraderie, appetizers, and cash bar.

This event is free. Guests are asked to support PPNNE's health services at any level or make a donation to the Laura Fund which helps Vermonters pay for abortion services.

Donations can also be made at www.ppnne.org/annualfund, being sure to mark it as an honorary gift for "Brattleboro Fundraiser."
