MANCHESTER — Playwright Theresa Rebeck will talk about women in contemporary theater at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday as part of Green Mountain Academy for Lifelong Learning's yearlong "Women 20-20" celebration. Registration for the talk, which will be presented via Zoom, is $10 in advance.

Rebeck will discuss what has been accomplished in the past decade to improve the status of women in theater and the inherent challenges that still remain. Four of her plays — "Bernhardt/Hamlet," "Dead Accounts," "Seminar" and "Mauritius" — have premiered on Broadway, making her the most Broadway-produced female playwright of our time.
