Police Log

- At 9:30 p.m., the Windham County Sheriff's Office conducted a motor vehicle stop on Back Westminster Road. Following an investigation, Jeremy J. Ritchie, 30, of Westminster, was arrested and cited with driving under the influence and possession of a regulated drug.

Nov. 26

- At 9:30 p.m., an officer with the Bellows Falls Police Department observed a dark-colored sedan with no lights on traveling east on Westminster Street in the area of Red Light Hill. As a result, Alex S. James, of Putney, was found to have a suspended license, as well as no current registration or insurance for the vehicle, which had license plates belonging to another vehicle. James was issued a citation, the plates were seized and J & M Auto removed the vehicle.

- At 11:50 p.m., an officer with the Hinsdale, N.H., Police Department conducted a motor vehicle stop on Brattleboro Road for a speed violation. As a result, Richard M. Getz, 43, of West Dover, was cited with operating an unregistered vehicle with a suspended license.

Nov. 27

- Troopers with the Vermont State Police are investigating a burglary that occurred during the afternoon hours of Nov. 25 at a home on North Pond Road in Marlboro. The only item taken was prescription pain medication valued at approximately $135.

All persons named in the Police Log are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
