Jan. 13

- At 6:15 p.m., the Vermont State Police received notification about an incident that took place at a residence on Route 30 in Townshend. Investigation revealed that Marshall Parker, 36, of Townshend, endangered a child within the residence. Parker was subsequently placed under arrest for cruelty to a child, and transported to the Westminster State Police Barracks for processing.

Jan. 14

- At 7:30 a.m., the Vermont State Police responded to Wilmington Cross Road in Whitingham for the report of a single-vehicle roll-over crash. Troopers determined John Galaske Jr., 40, Whitingham, was traveling south when his vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree before rolling over. Galaske was treated for a minor head injury.

- At 2:45 p.m., the Vermont State Police received a report that Marshall Parker, 36, of Townshend, had violated his court ordered conditions of release by contacting prohibited persons via Facebook.

All persons named in the Police Log are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
