Police Log

All persons named in the Police Log are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. June 6

- Brattleboro Police received a stalking complaint. At the conclusion of the investigation, Steven J. Brunelle, 62, of Brattleboro, was arrested for stalking. He was issued a citation to appear in court.

June 12

- At 8:57 a.m., a woman contacted Vermont State Police to report a theft of a wallet from her car that was parked on Weatherhead Hollow Road in Guilford. Sometime after 3:30 p.m., the wallet was stolen from her car that was believed to be unlocked. A small amount of cash, as well as credit cards, was inside the wallet.

- At 3:22 p.m., Vermont State Police investigated a two-vehicle crash on Route 30 in Newfane. Alice Revis, 49, of Guilford, was traveling south in her 2018 Subaru Outback and stopped for the car in front of her for a child that was crossing the road. Jason Gechter, 47, of Newfane, was traveling south in his 2002 Toyota Tundra and rear-ended the Subaru. Both vehicles had moderate damage but there were no injuries reported. Gechter was issued a warning for following too close.

- At 5:19 p.m., the Vermont State Police Westminster Barracks stopped a 2008 silver Volkswagen Jetta, being operated by Mathew Conkey, 22, of Rockingham, for traveling 106 mph in a posted 65-mph zone. Conkey was transported to the Westminster State Police Barracks for processing. He was released with a citation to appear in Windham County Criminal Court at a later date.
