Police respond to Elliot St. assault

BRATTLEBORO — The Brattleboro Police Department is seeking the public's help in finding three people who assaulted two men at just past midnight on Monday morning.

According to a press release, BPD officers responded to Elliot Street at 12:30 a.m. to the report of an assault. Upon arrival, they found two men who had sustained injuries. The two men told police they had been assaulted by three "unknown" men with a glass bottle.

According to the press release, the assailants fled the scene, and have yet to be identified.

The two victims were treated for their injuries at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital.
