BRATTLEBORO — Christian Thomsen threw a complete-game shutout as the Brattleboro American Legion baseball team topped White River Junction 6-0 on Wednesday night at Tenney Field.

The former Leland & Gray star struck out two, walked six and allowed three hits. He improved to 6-1 on the season.

Tyler Millerick erupted for three hits to lead Post 5 at the dish. Jeremy Rounds, Jack Pattison, Hunter Beebe, Alex Kendall, Evan Finnell and Thomsen all chipped in with one hit.

Third baseman Pattison also anchored the defense, getting a force out at the hot corner and then throwing across the diamond for a twin killing.

Brattleboro (14-6 in league) will host a doubleheader on Sunday, with their first game against Randolph starting at noon.
