Presentation promotes Light Therapy
BRATTLEBORO — Biologic Healthcare, a naturopathic and functional medical practice, will host a presentation on Light Therapy on Tuesday, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at its office at 205 Main St.
Reed Schimmelfing, founder of New Light Solutions, will discuss the application of Light Therapy (LT) in a range of conditions. LT is said to be beneficial for many who suffer from forms of depression, including seasonal affective disorder (SAD), sleep disturbances, shift work, hormone imbalance, weight disorders, PMS, adult ADHD and other concerns.
LT uses visible light to bring about natural changes in brain and hormonal chemistry. Bright Light Therapy equipment can be utilized according to one's needs. Reed will explain this modality and answer questions to help determine if Light Therapy is a good fit for you.
Seating is limited. Reservations can be made by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling the Biologic office at 802-275-4732.
