Presentation to cover natural medicines, essential oils


BRATTLEBORO — A free presentation on natural medicines and essential oils will be given by Dr. Mara Sussman at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 2, at 118 Elliot St.

Dr. Sussman will present about natural medicines and essential oils, which are part of a holistic way of addressing health challenges. Local residents will share their experiences with using essential oils to address mental, emotional and physical challenges. Information will be available about the dangers of artificial scents and fragrances, which are affecting our lives and our health.

On Sunday, March 3, Dr. Sussman will offer a six-hour workshop on the AromaTouch Massage Technique, which addresses stress, toxicity, inflammatory response and autonomic balance. It is a way to stimulate body meridian and energy points, bringing the body back to balance. The cost is $149 per participant. For more information, call 802-451-9495.

Dr. Mara Sussman, DC, CACCP, has been practicing chiropractic medicine since 1999, specializing in pregnancy, pediatric care, and gentle chiropractic techniques. She is an essential oil educator who presents internationally.
