Recreation and Parks Dept. offers tennis fundamentals

BRATTLEBORO — The Brattleboro Recreation & Parks Department and Ed Powers announced that they will be offering a week of Tennis Fundamentals July 27 to July 31 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Brattleboro Living Memorial Park Fred H. Harris Tennis Courts. This program will not be at BUHS as originally planned. This camp is for all youth ages 8-12.

Learn good techniques, play games, and focus on becoming a great tennis player! No experience necessary. Equipment loans are available for new players.

The fee is $80 for Brattleboro residents and $95 for non-residents. Mail in your registration and payment to the Brattleboro Recreation and Parks Department, PO Box 513, Brattleboro, VT, 05031. Make checks payable to the Brattleboro Recreation and Parks Department. In person registration is available, but only by appointment and masks will be required. Call the Brattleboro Recreation and Parks Department Office at 802-254-5808 for more details. Be advised the number of camp participants will be limited and will be on a first come, first serve basis with priority given to Brattleboro residents. All registration must be made in advance at the Main Office, and we will not be accepting any registration at the camp location.
