Register for Rock Voices community choir

BRATTLEBORO — Registration is now open for the fall season of Rock Voices, a community choir that only sings rock music.

Brattleboro Rock Voices meets Monday nights, with the first rehearsal on September 9. There is also a group in Keene, N.H., that meets on Wednesday nights, starting Sep. 4. There will be a new-member orientation session starting at 6 p.m. (at the first rehearsals only). Light refreshments will be provided at the first rehearsals.

Rock Voices is a community choir for adults (18-plus) that is open to everyone. There are no auditions. Songs include pop-rock, classic rock, soft rock, folk rock, and even soul and funk. Motown to the Beatles, and everything in between. Do you love the vocal harmonies of the '60s & '70s? The campiness of the '80s? The acoustic funk of the '90s? The power ballads and pop anthems of the 2000s? There's something for everyone in this group. Don't read music? Don't worry - recordings are provided for participants to learn by ear.
