Vice President George H.W. Bush makes a campaign stop in Brattleboro for Ronald Reagan's re-election on Thursday, Sept. 20, 1984. Vice President Bush spoke to a crowd of 3,000 people on the Common. According to the article, Brattleboro had the most vocal opposition to Bush since he started the re-election campaign three weeks prior.
