Richards dominates final Fun Run races

BRATTLEBORO — Williamsville resident Tammy Richards swept all four races during the final week of the Red Clover Rovers Virtual Fun Run Series.Melissa Stewart was the runner-up in three of the events on Upper Dummerston Road. Jack May earned the silver in the three-mile heat.

WINCHESTER, N.H. — Solomon Brow finished 13th and 17th, respectively, in the two Modified races over the weekend at Monadnock Speedway.

The Vernon, Vt. resident is currently seventh in the point standings. Vernon's Hillary Renaud is ranked fourth in the Street Stock division, while Vernon's Pat Houle sits 16th in the Mini Stock series.

The Granite State Mini Cups & Special Six Shooters race will be the feature on Saturday night, with the action beginning at 6.

Youth Softball

GREENFIELD, Mass. — The 14U Valley Storm Tournament Softball Team has one more roster spot available for a pitcher. The team primarily practices in Greenfield, Mass. in the fall, spring, and summer, and moves to an indoor facility in the winter. The team will compete in three fall tournaments that are scheduled already and will also be a part of the Western Massachusetts Fall Softball League.
