Scarlett named Elks Student of the Month

WESTMINSTER — Sarah Scarlett has been named the September Elks Student of the Month for Bellows Falls Union High School.

Scarlett, a senior, is the daughter of Alexandra and William Scarlett.

Dedicated to her academics, Scarlett works hard in her classes. She is an active participant in class discussions, offering insightful comments and asking meaningful questions. Scarlett is always willing to help others in class, in school activities and in the community. Always attentive, she comes to school every day prepared to learn. She is genuinely interested in the well-being of others, and goes out of her way to offer a hand, a bright smile or a friendly hello. Scarlett is an all-around caring and trustworthy person, and the school and community are lucky to have her.

Always smiling and positive, Scarlett is dedicated to humbly helping others. She is a positive role model who is well liked by the students and staff at BFUHS. She has served as a positive addition to her classes, school activities, the BFUHS field hockey team, and the BFUHS Student Council, where she gives 100 percent, and works hard to improve. She leads by example, and is a role model to others.
