'Shout Out Dine Out' event begins next week

Posted

In recognition of January being National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention month, several Berkshire County restaurants are participating in "Shout Out Loud," a program that raises funds to properly educate and train law enforcement, service providers and judicial leaders as they communicate and determine the disposition for individuals who are victims of human trafficking.

Each Thursday from Jan. 10 through Jan. 31 (at various times within the day) these eateries will host "Shout Out Loud to Dine Out."

All participating restaurants will share 20 percent of the profits that they earn on those dates.

The contributing restaurants include: Olde Heritage Tavern; District Kitchen & Bar; Frankies Ristorante Italiano; Public Eat + Drink; Mazcots Sports Bar & Grille; Firefly Gastropub & Catering; Caf Adam; Alta; and Arizona Pizza Co.
