Singing: Rock Voices


Rock Voices begins a new season. Monday nights, 7 to 9 p.m. community chorus that performs rock and roll. Vermont Jazz Center, 72 Cotton Mill Hill. No auditions. First rehearsal Sept. 10, orientation at 6 p.m. Live music

If you are looking for an amazing singing experience this fall, think about joining rock voices — the community chorus that performs only rock and roll. there are NO AUDITIONS, and you don't need to know how to read music (although it helps if you can carry a tune)! This fall, the choir's songs will include music by Aretha Franklin, Jefferson Airplane, Pat Benatar, Marvin Gaye, Adele, Guster, Three Dog Night, and many others. Final performance will be Friday, Jan. 4, 2019. Brattleboro rehearsals are Mondays, 7 to 9 p.m. at the Vermont Jazz Center (in the Cotton Mill building). First rehearsal is Sept. 10, with a new-member orientation beginning at 6 p.m.
