Subaru shares the love with Rescue Inc.

BRATTLEBORO — Brattleboro Subaru recently made a donation of nearly $28,000 to Rescue Inc. as part of Subaru's 2018 Share the Love event.

The check was presented to Drew Hazelton and the rest of the Rescue Inc. team on Thursday, May 2. The proceeds will be used toward the purchase a patient simulator. These modern simulators provide a sense of realism that Rescue Inc is currently lacking with its older training equipment. Advanced training modules will allow first responders to train on low frequency, high-risk skills and procedures. Real feedback from the simulator helps to fine tune assessment and critical decision-making skills.

Brattleboro Subaru said it is "a proud supporter of the community and is grateful to be able to help such an organization that provides an invaluable service to our area."

Rescue Inc will soon start to sell tickets to win a brand new Subaru. Tickets will be available at the Brattleboro station and at other locations around Windham County. Rescue Inc. will also have prizes donated by local sponsors.
