WESTMINSTER — The Bellows Falls girls and boys track teams swept Friday's eight-school meet.

Abby Broadley won the 1500 in 5:12 and the 3000 in 10:54 to pace the BF girls, who finished with 167 points to beat runner-up Stevens by 59 points. Jaden Luebbert (pole vault), Brigid Hodsden (javelin) and Madi Joy (shot put) also struck gold.

The Bellows Falls boys racked up 130.33 points to defeat Newport, Thetford, Brattleboro, Fall Mountain, Windsor, Leland & Gray, and Stevens. Reno Tuttle led the way with victories in the shot put (47-02) and discus (122-03). BF's Ryan Kelly took the high jump, while Gabe Hakimoglu triumphed in the 200.

The Brattleboro girls and boys teams each wound up in fourth place. For the Colonels, Maggie Lonardo finished first in the long jump with a leap of 15-08 and Declyn Tourville ran a 2:14.5 to win the 800.

Leland & Gray's 4x100 boys relay team of Cam Anderberg, Justin Crosby, Riley Barton and Batikan Cinar wound up fifth in 51.20. Jairen Sanderson (400) and Kate Petty (200) each placed sixth.
