Terriers trounce Spaulding, 30-8


WESTMINSTER — Jed Lober and Julian Christiansen each had a pair of rushing scores to propel the Bellows Falls varsity football team to a 30-8 victory over Spaulding in Friday night's season opener at Hadley Field.

Lober and Brady Clark led the ground attack with 94 and 76 rushing yards respectively. Griffin Waryas went 5-of-10 through the air for 80 yards, with two of those completions going to Sam Mellish.

Dylan Clark had a team-high six tackles for the Purple Gang, including two for loss. Noah Rawling followed with five takedowns.

The Terriers (1-0) will play at Lyndon (0-1) on Sept. 8 at 1 p.m.
