Photos: The Hill came alive
The annual Harris Hill Ski Jump competition was another huge success this past weekend in Brattleboro. Visitors from near and far braved frigid temperatures on Saturday — and slightly warmer conditions Sunday — to watch the daring athletic prowess of jumpers hitting the takeoff at more than 50 mph, soaring through the air, and landing up to 300 feet away. Slovenian Blaz Pavlic won the Fred Harris Memorial Tournament for the third time in four years, retiring the event's Winged Ski Trophy.
