Tigers top Brattleboro girls hockey team 3-2 in overtime

MIDDLEBURY — Avery Gale scored in overtime, assisted by Bella Gale, to give the Middlebury varsity girls ice hockey team a 3-2 win over Brattleboro on Monday.

Abby Hodsden finished with 19 saves for the Tigers, who took a 2-0 lead on tallies by Bella Gale and Kenene Otis. Audrey Schnoor and Camille Malhotra set those goals up.

Second-period winners from Juniper DiMatteo-LePape and Liv Romo pulled the Colonels even at 2-2. Juliana Miskovich and DiMatteo-LePape were credited with the assists.

Eliya Petrie stopped 31 shots for the visitors.
