Traffic stop nets $32k worth of heroin

ROCKINGHAM — Two Brattleboro womem were arrested early this morning following a traffic stop on Route 5 in Rockingham.

According to a report from the Bellows Falls Police Department, Solasia Graves-Trotman, 19, and Shaneika Graves-Trotman, 18, were in a vehicle stopped for a traffic infraction at 1:20 a.m. During the course of the investigation, K9 Caesar alerted officers to the presence of drug odors from the vehicle. A consent search was conducted and officers located approximately 3,185 bags of heroin.

Both women were arrested. Shaneika Graves-Trotman was cited with trafficking of heroin and transportation of heroin into Vermont and Solasia Graves-Trotman was cited with trafficking of heroin. The approximate street value of the heroin seized is $32,000.

Both were ordered released on conditions with a citation to appear at a later date.
