Tuttle earns weekly honor

BRATTLEBORO — A racehorse named Maximum Security and Bellows Falls senior Reno Tuttle have both been dominant this spring.

The stewards could only rob one of them of a victory.

Tuttle, who won the discus and shot put at the Windsor Invitational, received 124 votes to earn Brattleboro Reformer Athlete of the Week honors for April 21-27.

"The rock star does it again!!!" wrote Bridget Goodell on her online ballot.

Tuttle joins Leland & Gray Unified basketball player Sammantha Pelton and Bellows Falls track and field athlete Breanna Stockman as this spring's winners. All three earned a free night of cosmic bowling at Brattleboro Bowl.

The nominees for the April 28 to May 4 Reformer Athlete of the Week are shown below. In order to vote, simply go to www.facebook.com/ReformerSports and "like" your choice.
