Wellness Fair showcases local products and services


BRATTLEBORO — Strolling of the Heifers will host a Live Local, Live Healthy Wellness Fair from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday at the River Garden, 157 Main St.

"Our third-annual Wellness Fair will showcase so many wonderful local products and services," said Orly Munzing, Strolling of the Heifers' founder and executive director, "and fits perfectly with Strolling of the Heifers' mission. We want people to eat healthy, local food, which is one component of total well-being."

The Live Local, Live Local Wellness Fair is an opportunity to meet local and regional health care practitioners from all disciplines; sample healthy snacks; and browse natural body products. The family-friendly event is free and open to the public.

"Come celebrate the last week of summer, and usher in a happy, healthy fall!" said Vicki Friedman, one of the fair's organizers. "Our goal is to create a fun event where people can explore possibilities for healthy mind, body & spirit."
