Posted

BELLOWS FALLS — Isaac Wilkinson has been named the September Elks Student of the Month for Bellows Falls Union High School. Isaac, a senior, is the son of Chris and Kim Wilkinson of Bellows Falls.

A member of the Marilee Huntoon Jesse A. Judd Chapter of the National Honor Society, Isaac is an excellent student who asks great questions and puts a fantastic effort into everything he does. Isaac fully commits to classroom activities, discussions and assignments. He is eager to engage himself as well as others in tasks that others would normally not elect to do. A strong critical thinker, he works to involve others in activities, and helps them see views from different perspectives. As a responsible and conscientious young man, Isaac is someone that people know they can count on to help see a task through to the end.

A leader by example, Isaac has a fantastic attitude. He is not only positive, but he works hard to help others see the positive side of situations as well. Always willing to share his enthusiasm with others, he greets people with a smile and shows sincere interest when in a conversation. Isaac genuinely cares about people, and he has a huge heart.

Isaac comes to school every day willing to give 100 percent to the task at hand. When he is absent, he is proactive and works hard to get caught up in a timely manner.

Not only is Isaac an excellent student, he is dedicated community member. He is an active member of the BFUHS Student Council and was recently voted to the office of Historian. He is always looking to lend a helping hand and is a true leader for the group and general community.

Bellows Falls Union High School and the Elks are honored to have Isaac represent them this month with this award.
